Hospice of North Idaho has served our community since 1981, making us the most experienced hospice in North Idaho. We are the only community-owned hospice in our area. Hospice Aide at the Schneidmiller House, Full Time Float (day and night): This position provides 12.5-hour rotating shifts including every other weekend and holidays under the supervision of a Skilled Nurse (RN and or LPN). Aides provide compassionate, personal care, nutritional support and environmental needs to assigned patients. The Hospice Aide supports end of life goals and provides care in compliance with patient’s plan of care and infection control guidelines. minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse’s Aide Course with current Certified Nurse’s Aide certificate; State of Idaho Nursing Assistant Competency Evaluation.Read the detailed job description.

Hospice Social Worker, Full Time: This position will serve 32-40 hours per week primarily in the Silver Valley (Kellogg, Wallace, and surrounding area). Help further our mission by applying special expertise related to the psycho-social, spiritual, bereavement, environmental and financial needs of our hospice patients and their families. The social worker provides care alongside the interdisciplinary hospice team. On Call Hospice Aide/CNA: We are in search of wonderful aides to help out when we need it the most. PRN staff help when we need additional coverage. They are an essential part of our operation to provide quality, expert care to each patient. We ask that PRN staff be available for two shifts per month on a call-in basis.
